Magnetic Particle Testing is Surface and nearby surface ndt method. it's inspected on ferrous material either a material containing magnetization properties. The technique/s is chosen in terms of current (AC/DC) availability with equipments and applications.

  • WET VISIBLE MAGNETIC PARTICLE TEST
  • WET FLUORESCENT MAGNETIC PARTICLE TEST
  • DRY POWDER MAGNETIC PARTICLE TEST

Liquid Penetrant Testing is Surface ndt method. It’s generally used for all materials and applications followed by below techniques.

  • SOLVENT REMOVABLE DYE PENETRANT TEST
  • FLUORESCENT DYE PENETRANT TEST

Visual Testing is major Surface ndt method. Visualization is main tool for result (Accept/ reject) analysis. VT is an common practice followed and performed in any ndt method before & after.

  • DIRECT VISUAL TEST
  • OPTICAL VISUAL TEST

Radiography testing is reliable Sub surface ndt method. In RT inspections test parts is placed between radioactive material (source) and films. Exposure information’s (principle basis of absorption through transmission) can be recorded on films, it shall be viewable format. Also make results justifications easier. The exposure involved in radiographic testing, more care shall be required to handling radioactive material as per local law and rules. Radiation Protection is the tool to ensure our environmental safety.

Phased array testing is one of the Powerful techniques in Automated Ultrasonic Inspection (AUT). The phased array transducer contains (single housing) multiple active elements, it generates a multiplexed ultrasonic beams. The major advantage is phasing technology permit the beams can be modifiable (Linear or sectorial) electronically from a set position using of an Setup (Scan Plan) software’s. The Digitizing image information can be displayed in several formats (such as A-Scan, B-Scan, C-Scan & S-Scan), this technique is widely used for weld scanning, pipe line inspections and Complex shape products.

Eddy current (Circular current) generated by Coils. In industrial sectors ECT is an only method for inspecting Tubular products, additionally it can be applied to Cylinders and Sheets. Variant techniques shall be used based on materials and applications

  • REMOTE FIELD EDDY CURRENT TEST [RFET]
  • MAGNETIC FLUX LEAKAGE [MFL]
  • INTERNAL ROTARY INSPECTION SYSTEMS [IRIS]

Magnetic Flux Leakage is developed from principle of magnetization with sensors. This is the faster technique to inspect a floor of large diameter storage tank.

Time of flight Diffraction is one of the effective technique in Automated Ultrasonic Inspection (AUT). When TOFD is a more reliable technique comparable with Radiography.it entirely replace radiography technique/s in terms of Sensitivity & Accuracy of defect detections. The Digitizing image information (D-Scan visualization) can be almost similar with Radiography films. This technique is widely used for weld scanning in pressure vessels and pipe line inspections.
